Crutchfield engineering is a family owned business that was established by Cliff Crutchfield after a long corporate career. During this time he travelled the world extensively servicing the metallurgical and process plant industry. Services delivered ranged from R&D to turnkey commercial plants.
With a sound design and project background and a good understanding of business practice Crutchfield Engineering was established in 2003. The primary objective was the machine design, prototype design and rapid prototyping, of products and services appropriate to the African market.
Over the years Crutchfield engineering has grown its capacity in a number of areas spanning product development from design to commercialisation. This has spanned a wide diversity of project from home ware to industrial plant.

Crutchfield Engineering offers a full design and detailing service, which covers the full spectrum from concept to manufacture. All design work is carried out using the most up to date three dimensional solid technology.
Prototype Manufacture
Crutchfield engineering is equipped with conventional fabrication and machining equipment. Welding of stainless steel and aluminium. Crutchfield engineering has a small foundry with a capacity to produce prototype parts.
