Crutchfield Engineering  has developed sn easy & safe alternative method of joining electrical wires !

Duct tape is common method that most households & businesses use to alter extension cords lengths. Did you know by joining an electrical cord with duct tape is highly dangerous as this can lead to current overloads that causes FIRE and/or SHOCK. Just imagine, one tug on the cord while it is plugged in live can cause injury or death to a loved one.

The safeTjoin is mould in which you place your connected wires (with heat shrink tubing over the bare copper parts). Clamp the 2 halves together and inject hot glue through the mould’s spout. Remove the mould and trim the excess dried glue for a perfect joined connection that is safe!

The safeTjoin is available in three different sizes to accommodate different wire diameters.

You can also use the safeTjoin for DIY projects like making skipping ropes , handles, screwdriver handles. place LED’s into them for cool effects etc. the options are endless.
