All design work is carried out using the most up to date three dimensional solid technology ensuring that the customer is in the best possible position to be sure that the solution will meet there requirements.

Crutchfield engineering utilises Solid Edge Synchronous Design software  addressing design the functionality as well as the structural integrity of components utilising the built in design functionality including finite element analysis as well as other built in design functionality. This is backed up by many years of practical design experience.

Machine design projects have included numerous specialised machines for industries including earthmoving, agricultural, brick manufacturing and the waste recycling industry these designs have included mechanical hydraulic electrical and structural systems.

Automation design projects have included CNC machines for prototype manufacture the design included the control systems and software. In addition we have designed numerous sub assemblies to extend and modify existing systems.

Experience in the design of metallurgical and process plants from layout to detail. This experience covers both pilot plant and commercial plant. Including specification and design of individual components structures, piping, conveyors, autoclaves, reactors, filters, loading systems ETC.
