Extruder (Precious Plastic equivalent)
Extrusion is aĀ continuous process where plastic flakes are inserted into the hopper and then extruded into a string of molten polymer through a die of a particular shape.
Creative and practical products can be made by this extrusion machine, for examples beams of different shapes and sizes, lamp shades, bowls, skateboards, kitchenware etc etc.
The processes is started when shredded flakes or pellets are fed through a heatingand compression zone where the particular plastic is melted and extruded through the end of the barrel. A normal plumbing fittings is used to create endless fun of extruding different shapes and sizes of contentious m
olten string of plastic to wrap around moulds or the plumbing fitting can be welded to various moulds like metal tubing to make plastic beams. Other fun ways of making things with the extruder is by extruding a blobs of molten plastic and then smearing or rolling it across a mould continuously until your product is built up , Such examples include brick or tile making.
Many interesting and fun filledĀ ideas can be applied to making things using this unique machine. Ideas are endless!
