This version of the shredder has  counter rotating  teeth mounted on twin shafts that feed and shred the material from the hopper. This machine is ideal for shredding waste plastic quicker or where plastic wall thicknesses are significantly larger than normal waste. This shredder does not shred the plastic into flakes like the single axial shredder, but shreds the plastic waste into smaller parts. Perhaps for compacting, filling or one could use the Precious plastic equivalent shredder to make flakes in a double shred process.

The shredder is installed with an intellectual control system which includes a motor overload protection, and an auto-reverse feature when the shredding gets congested.
